Our library

At the MUFJ, we have a library inside our premises, including more than 700 publications in French and 1500 publications in Japanese, as well as various newspapers and magazines (French and Japanese). The library is available to anyone interested in France-Japan exchanges.

We offer a selection of various publications: dictionaries, art books, classical Japanese and French literature, poems, and even a few books for children in Japanese.

An 8-seat workspace with a WiFi connection is available to readers. Access to the library is free and open to all during opening hours. Registration is only required when lending books.

Loan conditions

It is possible to borrow 4 books for free for 3 weeks.

All you have to do is go to the reception desk

with your ID or student card.


The loan is renewable on-site or by e-mail (mujapon@unistra.fr).

In case of delay, penalties will be applied, such as loan bans of 2 up to 4 weeks.
